COLLECTION PROCESS

1. Accounts Are Assigned

An account submission form is completed and sent to us via fax, email, mail, or in person.

 

2. Debtors are Located

Locating a debtor that tries to avoid creditors can cost you countless hours and still may lead to no results. Utilizing numerous subscription databases, we find your debtors and end their run from payments.

 
 

 

 

3. Communication with Debtor

At first a final demand letter is submitted. We then PERSONALLY communicate with your debtors and encourage payments. Actual live contact (No ineffective electronic messages) 

 

4. Report to Credit Bureau

Debts are reported to credit bureau 30 days from the listing date.

5. File Suit

If we are unable to collect conventionally and you consent to legal action we can provide this service and attain a judgement.

 

6. Account is Closed

Accounts will be closed in the event that: a) the debt is collected or settlement is reached b) the debtor is bankrupt or deceased c) the debtor is unwilling to make payments and legal action is not justified d) or you request the account to be closed.

 

7.Monthly Reports

Another key distinction between DC Financial and other collection agencies is the detail and comprehensiveness of our month-end client reports. At the end of each month we email, mail, or fax numerous up to date reports on collections made. We also can provide customized reports on debt collections to suit your needs for no charge.
